Avoid using high-pressure water guns to directly hit the joint, and cover the joint area when cleaning the equipment.
1. Upgrade the waterproof level according to the scene (accurately match the requirements)
Daily damp scenes (such as electric vehicle body electronics, indoor industrial equipment): IP67 level (resistant to short-term water immersion of 1m, 30 minutes);
Water immersion scenarios (such as electric vehicle chassis, outdoor sensors): IP68 level (waterproof 3m, 1 hour);
High pressure flushing scenarios (such as industrial cleaning equipment, electric vehicle washing): IP69K level (high temperature and high pressure spray, 80 ℃, 80 bar pressure).
2. Strict waterproof testing and quality control
Factory testing: Each batch of products undergoes 100% "immersion testing" (IP67 level: soaking in 1m water depth for 30 minutes, insulation resistance ≥ 100M Ω after testing); Key products undergo additional "salt spray testing" (GB/T 10125, 48 hours) and "high and low temperature cycling testing" (-40 ℃~+125 ℃, 50 cycles) to ensure that the seals do not age or crack.
Process control: Keep the production environment clean and dry (humidity ≤ 60%), and use automated equipment for key processes such as gluing, crimping, and heat shrinking to reduce human error; Sealed storage should be moisture-proof to avoid aging and failure.
3. Post maintenance: Extend waterproof life
Regularly inspect the sealing components of the joint (such as whether the sealing ring is deformed or aged), and replace them promptly if any damage is found;
The signal lines in outdoor scenes should be coated with "waterproof silicone grease" (joint sealing surface) once a year to enhance the sealing effect;
Avoid using high-pressure water guns to directly hit the joint, and cover the joint area when cleaning the equipment.
